Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Collin County and the Lonestar Horse Council will be hosting this year’s “Horse Industry Tour” on Saturday, June 14th. The tour bus will leave the Collin County Extension Office parking lot located at 825 N. McDonald in McKinney at 8 AM and will return at about 4 PM. This tour this year will include stops at Mark Hixon Show Horses, Martindale Feed Mill, RC Trailers and Paul Taylor Saddle Shop.
There will be a registration fee of $25 per attendee to help with the cost of the tour bus and noon meal in Pilot Point. For more information on this event or to pre-resister, please call the Collin County Extension Office at 972-548-4233 by Thursday, June 12th. Please contact us as soon as possible if you plan on attending as we will be limited to the first 55 that call in because this is the capacity of the tour bus.
