Facebook Connect

The Admin:
We are experimenting with a Facebook Connect application. This application will allow you to log in via your existing Facebook account. If you already have an account here and would like to link it to your Facebook account, simply log in via your forum account. After your logged in, there will be a link under your account information (left side) on the main page to allow you to sync your accounts. Reply here if you encounter any problems or have any questions.

Well, I synced everything up and do see anything different...on here or Facebook.  Didn't get a confirmation email either like it said it was going to do.

The Admin:
I don't recall an e-mail message when doing the sync, but maybe I missed something. Now, I THINK when a new users goes to sign up, via their Facebook account, it is suppose to kick out the registration e-mail to whatever e-mail is associated with their Facebook account. I signed in this morning with my Facebook account, and something didn't work right. I was prompted to sign into Facebook, and after doing so, nothing happened. I'll have to check to see if there are any further updates to the application.
 
The only thing that will be somewhat different is, when your connected via your Facebook account, there should be an option of sending a topic on this board to your Wall. In addition, once your signed in, if you click the Facebook connect button again, you can update your Facebook status, invite people, and so on.
