Hello,Myname is Amy Larison. I am a Local Coordinator/Team Leader  forCIEE.  I am seeking host families for high school foreignexchange students anywhere in the US.  The students are betweenthe ages of 15-18 years old and stay either 5 months or 10 monthsdepending on what they have chosen to do.  They have their ownspending money for toiletries,school supplies, clothes, schoollunches, and entertainment, etc. They also have their own insurancethat is provided by CIEE. Host families come in all different types. It can be a family with or without children who are willing toopen their hearts and their home to one of these students.  Thereare many exchange students waiting for the phone call to find out whomthey will live with and where it will be.  Please consider thisopportunity to learn about a foreign country and culture as well ashelp fulfill a lifelong dream of one of these students.  The kidsare amazing and are so excited to experience life as a teenager inAmerica. They can’t wait to be a part of the high school experience. School is so different here from anything they've ever known. They have the choice to be involved in so many differentactivities in school including sports, band, clubs, drama, journalism,etc. They are so much fun to have around and see them experience somany new things and/or things that they have only seen in movies.There are so many rewards to being a host family and many ofthose will last a lifetime.  Please contact me to find outmore information and also look at ourwebsite.
