Web site rename
« on: May 06, 2009, 03:35:40 PM »
Over the next several weeks, the web site will officially change domain names. As mentiond, the new domain, or URL, will be http://www.northtexasonline.org. This new URL is already active. However, over the next several weeks, some changes will occur that might result in this web site being down for a short amount of time, and/or it may appear broken as some changes occur. During this time, it is also the intent to update some of the software runing on this site, as well as make a few other changes in relation to expanded nature of this web site. The existing URL, www.lavontexas.org, will be functional until 07/03/09, at which time, the domain will be allowed to expire.
Thanks for your understanding,

FYI, lavontexas.org has been renewed for another year, so its not going anywhere. It'll continue to be a redirect :-)

Well, I figured, it was sort of a short notice, plus, the renewal was only 10 bucks, which equates to a little less caffine in the morning for a week or so :-) I have some more work and modifications to do on the site. I have a few ideas I've been tossing around, but time has been limited the past couple of weeks. I'll get around to them eventually. I'm still not sold on the template I applied for the overall look and feel. There is some oddity with the buttons on the left side that want to reload on occasion for no real reason. When you mouseover a button, it shouldn't go away for a short.
