Web Site Update
« on: May 14, 2009, 06:08:18 PM »
This web site is going through a few changes. As changes are made, you might experience a few outages here and there,  however, I will make every attempt to keep downtime to a minimum. With that said, you might bump into a few anomalies and other small issues that may need to be worked out. I'll be working out the kinks over the next week and will continue to make other content changes as well. In addition, some previous functionality is currenty disabled and will be brought back as well. If you have any comments, suggestions, issues, etc, feel free to reply to this post.

Thanks!

Known Issue
One thing that I've noticed is that there are some screen painting oddities that I haven't pinned down yet. There are times when the page complete repaints and is a bit sluggish. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the template or the bridge between the CM package and the forum. In theory, all the graphics should be cached in the browser, yet it seems they appear to be redownloaded at times. Still researching...

Known Issue

I've resolved one of the issues with the screen painting. It appears there was a problem when using the lavontexas.org url to access this site, which was causing some links to use the old URL and some would use the new URL. When you bounced between the two URLs, some images were reloaded each time you changed URLs. This has been corrected. However, one issue still remains. When clicking many of the items in the forum, the entire page repaints for some reason, which should not occur.
